We have enough of the role of US Dollar in Cambodia and even more about the monthly percentage of money we loose because of incorrect exchange rates.
We want to patent a logo for this discount program and will ask other business, retailers, NGOs and governmental institutions to follow this.
Everybody who does, can put the logo up as a sort of quality sign, showing that this business, institute or organisation is boosting the local currency and customers know that they can get discount here.
People that strengthen the use of the Khmer Riel in the end should receive a tax-reduction from the government; or those people will know that a percentage of their valid tax will be used to increase the quality of education in the country.
This initiative will also give Khmers another feature to be proud of besides 1000 years old Angkor Wat:
their own currency!
The hardest work will be to convince the Ministries of Finance and of Commerce to participate.
